1916 Commemoration March 15th 2016

On the 15th of March we held a celebration in our school, like many other schools around Ireland, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 1916 Rising. The parents joined us for some music, dancing and the raising of the Irish flag. We read out our school proclamation that we had been working on for many weeks beforehand.It was a wonderful celebration and a very important event in Irish History.
