Aistear/ The Pet Shop September 2015

Dear Parents, Welcome to  Aistear.  Aistear is the irish word for journey and we invite you to share in this journey through play with us as we make our way through the year.  We will be posting pictures to let you see our progress.  We will be using play as a medium to learn.

We read the book ‘A Perfect Pet’ by Peta Coplans and we decided to make our own pet shop.  We made the labels for the items in the shop.  We made dog collars for the dogs.  We made posters to advertise our shop.  We priced the items in our shop.  We brought in the food for the pets.  We read some brochures about the different pets.  Why don’t you call in and see our shop and we will be happy to help you discuss what sort of a pet might suit you!
