Read to Self September 2016

We are learning how to choose a good fit book. We use the five finger rule for this. We choose a book, read one page and for every word we do not know we put up a finger. If there are no fingers up it means the book is too easy. One to two fingers means it is a good fit. Three to four fingers means we can give it a try and five fingers mean it is too hard for now. For read to self and buddy reading we can sit wherever we like in the classroom. dsc_0081 dsc_0080 dsc_0079 dsc_0078 dsc_0077 dsc_0041 dsc_0040 dsc_0038
